A patient suffered from Trigeminal Neuralgia and couldn’t tolerate the pain while awake, but also couldn’t be sedated. We had to keep chair time to the absolute minimum so initial impressions and bite verifications were super important. We fabricated a custom titanium frame with 14 individual preps to act as the substructure and light-cured opaques for the crowns and the tissue areas. GC LisiPress was used to manufacture 14 individual crowns. After cementing to the frame, GC Gradia light-cure composite was added for the gingival regions.
The end result was an All-on-Four screw-retained restoration that was delivered quickly and as pain-free as possible in only two restorative appointments. Doctor and patient alike were satisfied with the results!
